Your files stay yours.

RightWayUp is a free tool from Linh Ngo and XP.COM, LLC.

Your photos and videos

The browser opens and processes the files you choose. We do not receive or store those files. Automatic detection also runs on your device.

The native apps store exported copies in their local cache before sharing. The copy remains on your device until the app or operating system clears it.

Website requests

The server receives normal requests for pages, scripts, and the detection model. These requests can include your IP address, browser details, time, and requested address. The server keeps access logs for operation and diagnostics.

Local storage

The installable website uses a service worker to cache website files and the detection model. It does not cache your media. Clear this website's data in your browser to remove its cache.

Advertising

Paid ad placements are currently disabled. The website loads Google's AdSense script to verify our publisher account. Google receives requests for this script, including browser and network information. Its script can use cookies and device information. Your selected media stays local. Read how Google uses information from partner websites. The native apps do not load this script.

Other websites

Our project links open other websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices.
